I am very human!

I have loved and lost, I am a parent, I have been married, and I have made my fair share of mistakes.

I have regrets, amazing experiences, and have gone through both highs and lows. I have thrived and survived; I have taken pride in my achievements and felt ashamed of certain behaviours. In essence, I am very human!

One of my enduring interests and passions is human behavior. That’s why I have dedicated the last 25 years of my working life to helping people – both young and old – be the best they can be.

I have lots of tools in my bag!

I have worked across all sectors: public, private, and voluntary. I combine various approaches in my coaching, including behavioural analysis, cognitive behaviour coaching, transactional analysis, NLP, mindshifting, emotional freedom techniques, CONTROL Hypnotherapy and transformational coaching. My method involves using my experience, initiative, and your unique circumstances to find the best coaching strategy for you.

We need to be a ‘good fit’

The bottom line is that you can be confident in my expertise! However, it’s essential for you to experience it for yourself. I may not be the right coach for you, and we will both determine that after your free Discovery Call. If we decide that I am not the right fit, we can part ways amicably—I promise not to bombard you with follow-up contact, as I know how annoying that can be!

Honesty, humour and challenge

I am direct, honest, and transparent, completely focused and dedicated to my clients. I also incorporate humour and pose challenges when appropriate—this can be uncomfortable, but it’s part of the process; after all, you’re seeking coaching to have the mirror held up right?

Direct and authentic

I am kind, genuine, and real. I don’t use complicated language, nor do I overwhelm my clients with self-help quotes and empty inspirational phrases. My clients leave our sessions feeling heard, focused, and with greater clarity and confidence about reaching their goals.

We moved our family from England to Pembrokeshire so our kids could attend Castle School, largely based on Ruth’s “child development” role in the school. Unfortunately into their 4th year in the school, Ruth moved onto pastures new and it left a massive void in terms of personal development of the children. During this time our daughter began to suffer with fitting into her class and her confidence consequently suffered. So we immediately thought of Ruth who we contacted and she’s immediately brought our daughter back to her old self. The confidence issues have gone (or are at least under control) and our daughter has developed some super strategies for dealing with that mindset in the future. We’d highly recommend Ruth in whatever capacity but most notably in re-establishing our daughter’s confidence again. Sincere thanks, The Nand-Lal family.
